Apostrophe use never fails to amaze me. For instance, on this sign, why do ‘ciders’ and ‘dogs’ take an (incorrect) apostrophe, while snacks, beers, wines and lagers get none? Unless the sign writer has some ‘in cider’ knowledge, plurals never take apostrophes.
